Chuck’s Steak House ends five decades of legendary oceanfront dining

HONOLULU – Since Chuck’s Steak House opened inside the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort in 1967, the iconic Hawaii restaurant has been committed to serving the local community and visitors alike. At the end of March 2018, the restaurant will close and transition into Outrigger Resort’s Voyager 47 Club lounge, offering a new guest experience at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort.

The first Chuck’s Steak House opened in Waikiki at the Edgewater Hotel in 1959. Chuck’s Steak House on the Beach opened in 1967 and was one of the restaurant chain’s most popular and successful locations in Hawaii – known among locals and visitors for its casual island-vibes, the fresh and abundant salad bar, expertly charred prime-grade steaks and seafood. Following 50 years of impeccable service with a shining reputation among the local community, Chuck’s Steak House will close its doors on a high note. Beginning in April, Outrigger will transition the premier space into the new Voyager 47 Club Lounge, which will reopen in July 2018 for resort guests and locals planning private events or afternoon meetings.

Coming Soon: Voyager 47 Club Lounge at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort
