A Trio of Family-Friendly Resorts In Fiji That Protect the Environment

Knowing that visitors have long flocked to its blindly white beaches and crystal clear waters, and that these waters are vital to its very existence, the island nation of Fiji has taken an active role to protect these natural resources — The Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, along with its sister property, Castaway Island, Fiji, is part of OZONE, a conservation program taking an active approach to protecting the waters in front of their resorts. Preserving the reef and replanting coral are part of the OZONE program. This program in collaboration with the government, private industry, and worldwide conservation organizations was launched in 2015 to celebrate World Oceans Month.
