HONOLULU, HAWAII– Mel Kaneshige, executive vice-president of real estate and development at Outrigger Enterprises Group, was met with a standing ovation as he accepted the Lifetime Achievement – Holo Pono Award from NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties) Hawaii at its 2013 Kukulu Hale Awards. The award was presented at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on May 3, honoring Kaneshige for his major, sustained contributions to Hawaii’s commercial real estate industry and his civic and community involvement which have created a significant and positive awareness of commercial real estate in Hawaii.
“For more than 17 years, Mel has been an invaluable member of the Outrigger ohana; we congratulate and give thanks to him for his dedication, determination and vision that gave rise to this well-deserved honor,” said David Carey, president and CEO of Outrigger Enterprises Group.
