Outrigger Announces Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Moves

HONOLULU, OAHU, HAWAIIOutrigger Enterprises Group has announced new sales and marketing appointments as a result of its expansion activity through Asia Pacific.

Andrew Gee

Andrew Gee has been named regional director of sales and marketing for Australia and New Zealand based in Sydney and focusing on the outbound market. Mr. Gee was most recently director of sales and marketing for the Outrigger on the Lagoon • Fiji. Prior, Mr. Gee was director of sales for IHG and held management positions at Featherdale Wildlife Park, Western Sydney; Tourism New South Wales, Sydney; Taronga Zoo, Sydney; Jetset Travel, London; and Thomas Cook Travel, Chatswood, Sydney.

Karen Marvel
Karen Marvel

Karen Marvel is now director of sales and marketing for Outrigger’s two Fiji resorts, the Outrigger on the Lagoon • Fiji and Castaway Island, Fiji. Ms. Marvel was most recently head of sales and marketing for Castaway Island, Fiji. Prior, she owned The Group Travel Company, handling conference, incentive and special interest groups to Fiji. Ms. Marvel has also been product and marketing manager for Coach Tours of Fiji and the Pacific and director of sales and conferences for Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Fiji Mocambo Hotel. She has held several sales management positions focused on the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Jason Zvatora

Jason Zvatora has been promoted to regional director of revenue and distribution for Outrigger Hotels and Resorts in Australia and Fiji and is based at Outrigger Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. Mr. Zvatora was most recently in charge of revenue and distribution for Outrigger on the Lagoon • Fiji. Prior, Mr. Zvatora was executive assistant manager at Stamford Plaza Adelaide and hotel operations manager and executive assistant manager overseeing the Reef View Hotel, Palm Bungalows and Palm Terraces on Hamilton Island. Mr. Zvatora also has experience in food and beverage, hotel operations and events and conventions.
