Outrigger Enterprises Group announces Vacation Ownership Division appointments

WAIKIKI, HONOLULU, HAWAII – Outrigger Enterprises Group is pleased to announce three promotions within their Vacation Ownership Division.

Bob Berges is now director of operations for Outrigger’s vacation ownership division, based in the company’s Waikiki corporate offices. He was most recently Outrigger’s regional director, vacation ownership on the island of Hawaii.

The Outrigger-managed Hokulani Waikiki by Hilton Grand Vacations has been added to Berges’ oversight, in addition to the five Outrigger-managed Wyndham resorts he currently oversees: Wyndham at Waikiki Beach Walk, Wyndham Royal Garden Resort, Wyndham Royal Sea Cliff Resort, Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Village and Wyndham Mauna Loa Village by the Sea.

Berges joined Outrigger in 2006 as general manager of the Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Village and in 2010, was promoted to regional director of the vacation ownership division.

Marie Cabanas has been promoted to general manager of Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Village and Kathy Ka‘ai is now general manager of the Wyndam Mauna Loa Village by the Sea.

Cabanas was most recently assistant resort manager at the Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Village since 2009. She joined the resort in 2001 as a front desk clerk and was also a guest services manager.

Ka‘ai was assistant general manager at Wyndham Mauna Loa Village by the Sea and has over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry from accounting and payroll to front office, housekeeping and management. Ka‘ai joined Outrigger in 2008 as executive housekeeper at the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona.
