Outrigger Resorts appoints new U.K. sales and marketing representatives

PHUKET, THAILAND — Outrigger Resorts, the premier beachfront resort company, with its Hawaii headquarters and Asia-Pacific office in Phuket, has appointed Hills Balfour as its U.K. representative for sales, marketing and PR support. The partnership begins Feb. 1, 2016.

Hills Balfour Account Director, Andrea Hogg, will be the key person for U.K. sales and marketing on behalf of Outrigger Resorts supported by Executive Director Julian Mills and Account Manager Freya Boucher on U.K. market PR activities with Outrigger Resorts.

“The UK is a very important market for Outrigger, especially for our recently acquired properties in Phuket and Koh Samui, Thailand, the Maldives and Mauritius,” said Mark Simmons, vice president sales and marketing, Asia Pacific.

“With Hills Balfour’s extensive network of contacts and proven ability to leverage relationships, they will grow sales and marketing and show the U.K. trade that Outrigger Resorts is on a journey to become the premier beachfront resort brand in the world.”

Outrigger operates, or has under development, 40 properties with approximately 9,000 rooms in Hawaii, Guam, Fiji, Thailand, Mauritius, Maldives, Vietnam and Hainan Island, China.
