Vuvale awards recognize hosts’ efforts during Cyclone Winston

CORAL COAST, FIJI – One of those who stayed on duty during Tropical Cyclone Winston and among the first to start the cleanup, Executive Housekeeper Tepola Natadra is the Vuvale Manager of the Month for February.

Front of House winner was Sales Executive Vanessa Steele. Vanessa held down the fort during the month in the absence of the rest of the sales team, answering inquiries and managing site inspections. She also looked after the executive office and assisted in the coordination of communication during Cyclone Winston.

Guest Service Agent Adi Tuilailai Tani also did an excellent job during Cyclone Winston and is the winner of the Here to Help award.

The refurbished resort pool has re-opened thanks to the efforts of hosts such as Back of House award winner Carpenter Navin Chand, whose efficiency and hard work saw this major project completed on schedule.

Supervisor of the Month is Nicholas Jazer, a chef de partie who possesses great supervisory skills and is a very effective and thorough worker.

The How Can I Help Winner is Joseva Varuru, a steward who distinguished himself with his efforts in assisting the kitchen team during the cyclone and is always willing to lend a hand.
