WAIKIKI, HONOLULU, HAWAIIOutrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and Blue Note Hawaii welcome the Rough Riders – Henry Kapono, John Cruz and Brother Noland, for their debut performance March 31 to April 2 at Hawaii’s newest venue for live entertainment. Concertgoers can anticipate the well-honed craft and power of three inspiring songwriters, distinctive voices and the perfect blending of guitars that create an exceptional music style.

To mark the Rough Riders’ inaugural appearance at Blue Note Hawaii, Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort is introducing their new Rhythm & Blues on the Beach room and show package with a limited-time introductory offer for stays March 31 through April 2 and nightly rates starting from $279 for a city view room (plus tax and fees), plus two VIP/Premium Seats to the Rough Riders show and two Premium Cocktails (tax and gratuity included for show/cocktails).

The Rough Riders’ name is inspired by the 1908 Hawaiian Rough Riders, three Paniolo (cowboys) who combined their skills, determination and style and became World Rodeo Champions. Today’s Rough Riders, Henry Kapono, John Cruz and Brother Noland, have come together to create an exceptional musical style. During their Blue Note Hawaii concert series, the Rough Riders will be featuring songs from their newly released and HOKU nominated, EP, “We Ride.”

As Hawaii’s premier venue for world-renowned artists, Blue Note Hawaii features a wide range of musical entertainment – from local talent to international sensations – for limited engagements year round. The venue showcases leaders in jazz and blues, as well as musicians of other genres. Some of the performers who have appeared since its December 2015 opening have included Kenny G, Jake Shimabukuro, Earl Klugh, John Scofield and Joe Lovano Quartet, Maxi Priest, Don Tiki and Anuhea. In addition to the Rough Riders, upcoming artists include The Blind Boys of Alabama, The Wailers, Chaka Kahn, Lee Rittenour, Hiroshima, Kalapana and so many more.
