HONOLULU, HAWAII – On Dec. 20, 2018, Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic and the University of Hawaii men’s basketball head coach Eran Ganot teamed up with Outrigger Hospitality Group to host Coaches vs. Cancer. The fundraiser, held at The Reef Bar & Market Grill, united collegiate head coaches from the basketball tournament to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Over $7,600 was donated to local beneficiary Honolulu Hope Lodge in Nuuanu, a free, home away from home for cancer patients and caregivers.
Hawaii men’s basketball head coach Eran Ganot and Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic director of operations Tamarah Tabor recently stopped by the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort to share the amount raised in December for the Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser.
