The Fine Dining Experience to be held at the Resort’s Newest Culinary Concept: Piko Coffee & Wine Bar
KONA, Hawaiʻi – In continuation of its coveted sunset wine series, OUTRIGGER Kona Resort & Spa is thrilled to announce a delectable five-course dining experience at the newly unveiled Piko Coffee & Wine Bar on Friday, July 19th. Priced at $120 for adults ages 21 and over, this exquisite evening will start at 5:30 p.m. and feature award-winning wines from the renowned Paul Hobbs Winery, paired with Hawaiian-inspired cuisine crafted by the resort’s exceptional chefs.
Each course will be guided by OUTRIGGER Resort & Spa chefs, highlighting resort-grown vegetables and honey from the on-property garden and apiary. Through a partnership with acclaimed winemaker, Paul Hobbs Winery, diners will have the exclusive chance to taste and learn about the following off-menu dishes and wine selection:
- 2021 Paul Hobbs Russian River Chardonnay
Seared smoked sea salted scallop, moringa crème, calamansi truffle caviar - 2020 Cross Barn Pinot Noir
Crisp Hawaiian chili pepper bacon cup, ali`i mushroom duxelle, Point Reyes blue cheese - 2019 Crossbarn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Grilled `ulu bread bruschetta, rosemary goat cheese, sundried Kamuela tomato pesto - 2021 Bramare Malbec Valley de Uco
Kona coffee espresso tenderloin of beef bordelaise, shallot jam, manchego crisp - 2021 Hillick and Hobbs Riesling
Milk chocolate mille-feuille, macerated strawberries

Following dinner, Piko will open for guests to relax and enjoy cocktails crafted by the restaurant’s talented mixologists. As the newest dining option on property, Piko Coffee & Wine Bar is the perfect place to fuel up with a custom coffee blend from Big Island Coffee Roasters and Kaʻu-grown coffee by day or wind down in the evenings with a high caliber of wines sourced from California, France, Italy and New Zealand.
