OUTRIGGER Blooms Bright with “Flowerworks” for Fourth of July Celebrations

RELEASE NUMBER 25 | 25

Floral Showers and Family-Friendly Festivities in Kona, Kāʻanapali and Līhu‘e

HONOLULU – OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels is redefining the Fourth of July with an unforgettable twist on tradition. This summer, guests at OUTRIGGER’s premier oceanfront resorts in Kona, Kāʻanapali, and Kauaʻi are invited to experience “Flowerworks” – a breathtaking aerial celebration that swaps sparks for petals in a stunning display of aloha. The festivities take place on Friday, July 4, as Blue Hawaiian Helicopters will hover over each property and release a gentle shower of locally-sourced flowers in place of traditional fireworks.

Families, visitors and kamaʻāina are invited to enjoy this unique event featuring live music, keiki activities, local flavors and lei-making workshops. OUTRIGGER’s “Flowerworks” offer a heartfelt and eco-conscious alternative to fireworks by showcasing Hawaiʻi’s natural beauty and rooting guests in connection, community and care for the land.

“OUTRIGGER’s ‘Flowerworks’ experiences are designed to bring our guests together with intention, joy and aloha,” said Venus Bravo Yi, area director of marketing at OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels. “We are proud to host a reimagined tradition for Fourth of July celebrations that is inclusive for all.”

The “Flowerworks” events are free for all resort guests. Each property will provide a signature experience tailored to place, highlighting the bespoke offerings of each island.
