HONOLULU – OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels, recognized globally for its authentic island hospitality and award-winning cultural experiences, has been named Best Hotel – Oceania/Pacific for its iconic Castaway Island, Fiji property at the Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards (ULTRAs), held in Dubai on November 17, 2025.
Castaway Island, Fiji – an all-natural, private island escape celebrated for its pristine beaches, traditional Fijian bures, heartfelt service, vibrant reef system and innovative sculptural coral gene bank – earned the title as voted by the 32 million members of the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty program. The accolade was presented at a glamorous ceremony hosted at Nikki Beach Dubai, honoring the very best in global travel.
Recognizing the pinnacle of excellence across the luxury travel sector, the ULTRAs is one of the industry’s most prestigious annual awards, organized by Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands and operator of the GHA DISCOVERY program.
