HONOLULU – OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru Resort has been honored with the prestigious Best Foreign Resort award at the Russian Traveler Awards. Organized by the esteemed Russian Traveler magazine (formerly National Geographic Russia), the annual awards celebrate excellence across the global tourism landscape, from resorts and hotels to national cuisine, eco-tourism and emerging destinations.
Entries undergo a strict evaluation process, with winners chosen by the magazine’s discerning readers. The 2025 results were announced December 8 at the awards ceremony in Moscow, Russia.
