OUTRIGGER Named Official Hospitality Partner of the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association

RELEASE NUMBER 2 | 26

HONOLULU — OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels has announced a new multi-year partnership with the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association (HHSAA), becoming the Official Hospitality Partner of HHSAA through the 2027–2028 athletic season. The partnership underscores OUTRIGGER’s long-standing commitment to community giveback and support of athletics across Hawai‘i.

“High school sports are the heartbeat of our communities,” said Sean Dee, Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group. “These student-athletes represent dedication, teamwork and pride in place – values that align with our own. We’re honored to support HHSAA programs and to welcome teams and their families as they compete and create lifelong memories here in Hawai‘i.”

As part of the agreement, OUTRIGGER will serve as home base for traveling high school athletic teams, their friends and family – providing welcoming accommodations rooted in local culture and island hospitality at discounted rates when booked through OUTRIGGER’s Business Connection program. OUTRIGGER will also have an on-site presence at HHSAA state tournaments, including the Boys Basketball tournament Feb. 10-13, where they will give fans a chance to win tickets to see Cirque du Soleil ‘Auana at the OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Beachcomber Hotel during the half-time festivities at the championship game on Friday night.

“HHSAA athletics are built on community,” said Christopher T. Chun, Executive Director of the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association. “OUTRIGGER’s commitment goes beyond hospitality, they understand the importance of supporting our student-athletes, schools and families statewide. We’re grateful for a partnership that truly reflects the values of Hawai‘i.”
