Water Conservation Top of Mind for Some Hotels, Tourism Businesses

Monica Salter, vice president of communications and sustainability at the Outrigger Hospitality Group, tells HPR that the hotel chain has been active in adopting efforts to conserve water, reduce waste and be energy efficient within its operations for the past decade and that the measures taken at its Waikīkī properties are also in place at its hotels across the state, Fiji, Mauritius and the Maldives.
