Pacific Business News: UH Mānoa School of Travel Industry Management Receives $50K Scholarship Endowment

The School of Travel Industry Management at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa has received a $50,000 scholarship endowment from the family of late hotel executive Barry Wallace. Wallace was the former executive vice president at what was then Outrigger Enterprises Group. He passed away in May 2020.

“Barry was passionate about educating and mentoring young people in the travel and hospitality industry and would often share his experience with students at the TIM School,” Shidler College Dean Vance Roley said in a statement.
