The Outrigger Way is defined as caring for our guests, our hosts and the places we do business. In this time of caution due to novel coronavirus (COVID-19) – I want to personally assure you that we are unwavering in our level of care, taking proactive measures in our control to ensure a safe and clean environment at our hotels, resorts and condominiums worldwide.

Our hearts go out to those who have been affected and we hope for quick containment.

Here are some of the specific ways that we’re looking out for you: 

  • Preparedness & Response Plan: Outrigger has a comprehensive plan in place for various stages of COVID-19 and are strictly following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) alongside local government authorities. Our Emergency Management Team has been activated, ensuring that this plan is communicated globally, executed efficiently and updated as the situation evolves.
  • Intensified Cleaning & Sanitation: In addition to the high cleanliness standards already in place, additional precautionary measures include: use of disinfectant products approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) specifically for use against emerging viral pathogens and increased quantity of cleanings – paying particular attention to high-touch areas such as door knobs and elevator buttons.
  • Host Training & Support: Our safety and security teams are holding mandatory all-host training sessions specific to combat the spread of COVID-19 and our HR department has modified policies to provide appropriate support for our team.
  • Flexible Booking Policy: Outrigger remains open to welcoming guests to experience our legendary hospitality.
