New sales manager joins Outrigger Resorts Fiji team

BRISBANE AUSTRALIA – Outrigger Enterprises Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Lauren Grech as sales manager-Fiji for Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort and Castaway Island, Fiji.

Grech is based in Outrigger’s Sydney regional sales office and will focus on retail travel, weddings and MICE markets.

She comes to Outrigger from Pinpoint Travel Group where she was a senior tactical product specialist dealing with the U.S. and Canadian markets. In her eight years with Pinpoint, Grech also worked as an account management reservations consultant, wholesale reservations consultant and product coordinator for the U.S., Canada, Fiji, South Pacific, Bali, Asia, Maldives, UK/Europe, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

In welcoming Lauren to the group, Ben Johnson, director of sales and marketing for Outrigger’s Fiji resorts, said he was delighted to fill the position with an experienced industry professional with sound experience and contacts in Fiji’s key source markets.

Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort celebrated its 15th year as an Outrigger branded property in November 2015 while Castaway Island, Fiji, which has been operating as a resort for 50 years this November, became part of the Outrigger Resorts group in February 2014.
