Ninoska Batista Named Project Manager at OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group

HONOLULU – OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ninoska Batista as its new Project Manager, effective October 14, 2024.
In this role, Batista will manage planning, programming and construction programs for OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group and its hotel partners. She will also provide expertise in design and construction, including specifications, product maintenance, raw materials and vended products.
Batista brings over a decade of industry experience to OUTRIGGER, most recently as a Project Manager for THOST Projektmanagement, acting as the owner’s representative for a $10 billion industrial project. Prior to this, she was a Design Manager at Gensler, where she administered more than a dozen interior workplace projects including proposals, work plans, schedules, staffing and project fees.

Batista also has experience as a Senior Project Manager and Team Leader at CID Design Group and as a Senior Architectural Designer at CRB. She holds an impressive educational background, including an MBA in Building Sustainability from Technische Universität Berlin, a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech – Bauhaus Universität, and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Florida International University.
She holds several certifications, including WELL AP from the International WELL Building Institute, FITWEL Ambassador from the Center for Active Design, LEED AP BD+C from the U.S. Green Building Council, and is actively pursuing CIDQ and ARE qualifications. Accolades include recognition for her master thesis at Virginia Tech, the AIA-AIAS Trust Scholarship for academic excellence, the Leadership and Mentoring Award from CH2M HILL, and winning the Solar Decathlon Design Competition at Florida International University for innovative and sustainable design.
