Outrigger Announces New Directors of Revenue Management and Talent Acquisition

HONOLULU – Outrigger Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce Jamie Wong, director of revenue management for OHANA Hotels by Outrigger® and Jacqueline Freeman, director of talent acquisition.

Wong now oversees pricing and revenue optimization for OHANA Hotels by Outrigger®, to include the OHANA Waikiki East by Outrigger® and OHANA Waikiki Malia by Outrigger®.

Her experience includes being a director of sales and marketing at Highgate Hotel and before that, director of revenue management at Island Air. Familiar with the Outrigger family of properties, Wong was formerly a director of revenue management for Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort and Outrigger’s OHANA brand; she also held revenue management positions at the Ala Moana Hotel and Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger. Early in her career, Wong gained operations experience having held several positions at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort.

With a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Wong also has an associate’s in sales and marketing from Kapiolani Community College and a Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) designation from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) where she is a member.

Freeman is responsible for targeted talent acquisition strategies, recruiting, interviewing, evaluating, and recommending placement of qualified applicants for Outrigger Hotels and Resorts.

Formerly a recruiting manager for Holland & Knight LLP, in Washington, D.C., and lateral recruitment coordinator for Dechert LLP, in New York City, Freeman also has experience in business development, marketing and advertising.

With a bachelor’s in communication from The University of Alabama, Freeman majored in advertising with a minor in creative writing.
