WHAT: As part of its unwavering commitment to sharing authentic Hawaiian culture with guests and kama`aina alike – Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort continues its quarterly O Ke Kai Series with The Friends of Hokule`a and Hawai`iloa – with the theme of “Rebuilding the Past – Wayfinding the Future.”

Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort’s O Ke Kai Series ensures traditional Hawaiian canoe building and restoration skills are passed on to future generations with:

  • Fun and educational activities for the keiki
  • H­­­ands-on demos with canoe builders
  • Navigator’s compass display
  • The Polynesian Voyaging Society’s “Malama Honua” video presentation (final voyage around the world)
