Outrigger partners with Kahala Sportswear to launch exclusive Polynesian Voyaging Society aloha shirt collection

HONOLULU, HAWAII – Outrigger Enterprises Group has something brand new up its sleeve – the hotel company recently announced its exclusive partnership with Kahala Sportswear to debut this collaborative shirt collection, with proceeds going to support the Polynesian Voyaging Society (PVS) and its Worldwide Voyage. The limited edition collection will include two prints and two aloha shirt styles featuring the PVS and Outrigger logos. The first of two shirts are now available in Kahala Sportswear retail locations, select Macy’s stores and online at kahala.com.
“Outrigger’s guiding principles include perpetuating Hawaii’s culture, protecting our planet, and instilling these values in the next generation, and we’ve long felt that the Polynesian Voyaging Society is cut from the same cloth with a mission of navigating toward a healthy and sustainable future,” said Bitsy Kelley, vice president of corporate communications at Outrigger Enterprises Group. “It’s an honor to be able to support PVS with this new collection and we’re pleased that our partnership with Kahala has been the perfect fit.”
Just in time for the holidays, the shirts are available in three different “reverse-print” colors. The spring line will feature modern and bright colors and will debut in summer 2016.

Through programs like its Worldwide Voyage, PVS seeks to perpetuate the art and science of traditional Polynesian voyaging and the spirit of exploration through educational programs that emphasize respect for people and their environments. In addition to its aloha shirt collection, Outrigger sponsors the voyage with accommodations for the crew and provides educational opportunities and activities for the community to participate in at various Outrigger properties in Fiji, Australia, Bali, Mauritius and other beachfront resorts worldwide.
