Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort celebrates “Golden Anniversary”

HONOLULU – This month, Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort celebrated five decades of welcoming guests from around the globe while providing vacations that connect visitors to the history and spirit of aloha. To celebrate the property’s 50th anniversary, Outrigger held a VIP Golden Anniversary bash Monday, July 24 – hosting more than 250 guests to a magical evening honoring the resort’s captivating journey in Waikiki along with a special concert featuring legendary Hawaiian artists at Blue Note Hawaii.
As part of the celebration, select guests staying at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort received tickets to join the resort’s one-of-a-kind Golden Anniversary celebration that kicked-off with a welcome reception featuring signature cocktails alongside historic Outrigger memorabilia stationed throughout the resort property. Following the reception, award-winning Hawaiian music legends Henry Kapono, Alx Kawakami and Makana took the stage at Blue Note Hawaii providing guests with an unforgettable live performance during a sit-down anniversary dinner.

Outrigger’s long-standing local philanthropic partner Waikiki Community Center and property land owner Queen Emma Land Company were also honored during the VIP Golden Anniversary event. Representatives from both partners received a special memento of thanks for their longstanding work with Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort.
