With a brand-new guest reception lobby, re-naming of the resort’s accommodation categories, and expansion of its Unit Choice offerings, the guest experience at this world-renowned destination just keeps getting better.

After a traditional Hawaiian blessing, the property’s new guest reception lobby at 300 Kapalua Drive makes for a memorable first and last guest impression featuring sweeping views of the awarded Kapalua Bay Golf Course. The reception center’s relaxed island attitude features a classic sit-down front desk of repurposed furniture built of koa and cook pine harkening to Kapalua’s golden era of the 1980s. Signature Kim Taylor Reece hula dancer lamps provide light and ambiance to welcome guests of The Kapalua Villas Maui. Wool rugs, imported handcrafted furniture of exotic tropical mahogany from the Malayan Archipelago and tropical indoor landscaping create a warm island welcome. Additionally, a new business center offers the convenience of checking emails and printing boarding passes.

As of today, unit category names will clearly indicate the location and the view of each villa. Guests may now choose to reserve impressive accommodations in the Bay Villas, nearest to the ocean; The Ridge at Kapalua, high above the ocean with panoramic views; and Golf Villas, set along the fairways of the Kapalua Bay Course. The Hawaii Vacation Condos by Outrigger Unit Choice program offers guests the further flexibility to reserve by individual unit number enabling guests to book and confirm the ideal condo unit for their needs from a range of hand-picked villas in all three of the Kapalua developments.
