Three Outrigger Resorts named among the best in TripAdvisor 2015 Traveler Awards

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA – Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort,  was voted by travelers to be the number one Fiji resort for families and fourth best hotel in Fiji overall.  Sister property Castaway Island, Fiji was named third for families for Fiji and seventh hotel in Fiji overall.

Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort, Thailand, was voted the fourth best resort for families in Thailand in the 2015 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards.

The awards were announced on Jan. 22 as a result of millions of travelers voting in the annual TripAdvisor Awards which rate properties around the world.

Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort General Manager Peter Hopgood said that the resort’s Meimei nanny service and extensive Kids Club programs combined with purpose-built adult only zones made the resort a haven for families.

Castaway Island General Manager Steven Andrews believes the formula for families stems from the Fijians’ legendary love of children.
