The HFWF23 Summer Sweepstakes provides food and travel enthusiasts with the opportunity to attend the festival in style and immerse themselves in the vibrant culinary scene of Hawai‘i. The main event—Hawaiian Airlines Presents Crush’d at the Hawai‘i Convention Center—is a wine lover’s oasis, boasting a grand tasting experience with world-class wines poured by acclaimed winemakers and sommeliers. Priority Access ticket holders will receive early entry to the event one hour before general admission to enjoy delicious culinary creations prepared by 15 of the nation’s top chefs including Gabi & Greg Denton, Tyler Florence, Rhoda Magbitang, Jeremiah Stone and Fabian von Hauske, as well as local favorites like Daisuke Hamamoto, Michelle Karr-Ueoka and Wade Ueoka. The prize package, which includes air travel and hotel accommodations, is valued at just over $9,000.

“The festival was incredible, out of this world really,” shared one sweepstakes winner who attended HFWF’s signature wine-centric grand tasting at the Hawai‘i Convention Center last year. “I tried so many delicious plates and paired them with amazing wine selections. I’m still raving about this to all of my friends in the Northeast!”

This year, more than 90 world-renowned chefs and culinary personalities will be joined by winemakers, sommeliers and mixologists to showcase their talents while highlighting the diverse flavors and bountiful local ingredients that make Hawai‘i a true culinary destination. As the only festival that requires participating talent to use a locally grown, raised or caught product in their dish, HFWF attendees are treated to culinary creations they won’t taste anywhere else. In addition to showcasing local chef talent, the Festival has become a stage to highlight local artists and artisans, makers, musicians, performing and visual artists to rebuild vital industries in Hawai‘i. Since the beginning, proceeds from the HFWF have supported local ‘āina-based and community organizations committed to culinary and agricultural education, sustainability and cultural programs with over $3.5 million in giving to date.

The Thirteenth Annual Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival is scheduled for three weekends of events across three islands from October 13-November 5, 2023. ABOUT HAWAI‘I FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL
The Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival® is the premier epicurean destination event in the Pacific. The three-weekend Festival features a roster of more than 150 internationally renowned master chefs, culinary personalities, sommeliers, mixologists, and wine and spirit producers across three islands—making it the largest food and wine festival in the state of Hawai‘i. Co-founded by two of Hawai‘i’s own James Beard Award-winning chefs—Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong—the Festival was founded to put a spotlight on Hawai‘i as a culinary destination during the visitor industry’s shoulder season and showcase the state’s diverse agriculture by requiring all participating chefs to highlight locally grown, raised or caught ingredients in their dishes. In addition to showcasing local chef talent, the festival has become a platform to highlight local artists and artisans, makers, musicians, performing and visual artists to rebuild vital industries in Hawai‘i. Since the beginning, proceeds from the festival have supported local ‘āina-based and community organizations committed to culinary and agricultural education, sustainability and cultural programs. In 2022 HFWF raised $380,000 to support 17 beneficiaries, bringing total giving since 2011 to $3.5 million.
