HONOLULU – OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group today announced the appointment of Stephen “Steve” Nickerson as Vice President, Operations – The Americas, effective March 16, 2026. In this role, Nickerson will oversee hotel operations across the Americas, ensuring consistent service excellence and strong financial performance while aligning property-level activities with company goals and brand standards.
“Steve brings a depth of operational expertise and a strong track record of leading high-performing hotel teams across diverse markets,” said Mike Shaff, Executive Vice President, Operations – The Americas. “His experience working closely with owners and operators, combined with his focus on service excellence and operational discipline, will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen performance and elevate the guest experience across our portfolio.”
Nickerson most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Midas Hospitality, where he oversaw a national portfolio of multi-branded properties and partnered closely with ownership groups on operational strategy, performance and capital projects.
He brings extensive hospitality leadership experience spanning full-service, select-service and extended-stay hotels, including senior operations roles at Sonesta Hotel Corporation and InterContinental Hotels Group, as well as earlier leadership positions with Candlewood Suites.
