HONOLULU – OUTRIGGER Kona Resort & Spa has appointed Sergio Sanchez as its new Director of Rooms, bringing more than a decade of hospitality expertise to the newly transformed oceanfront resort.
In this role, Sanchez will oversee the Housekeeping, Front Office, Bell Services, Cultural and Security Departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence.
Sanchez brings a wealth of knowledge in guest services, operations management and luxury hotel administration.
He joins OUTRIGGER Kona Resort & Spa from Sheraton Gateway, where he successfully led the Front Office and Housekeeping departments, optimized operational efficiencies and enhanced guest satisfaction. His expertise in developing standard operating procedures, budget management and employee engagement has consistently contributed to the success of renowned properties, including Le Meridien Delfina, Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows and UCLA’s Luskin Conference Center.
